PRIME Immersion Trip

The immersive, week-long San Francisco Bay Area trip connects students directly with tech leaders, government representatives, and executives, greatly supplementing their academic curriculum. This experiential learning opportunity enables students to directly engage with key players in the region's dynamic innovation ecosystem.

  • Extensive Company Access: Students visit and tour more than 20 cutting-edge, Silicon Valley-based companies.
  • Direct Interaction/Networking: Participants network and interact with company executives, founders, government representatives, and technologists. The interactions facilitate the development of professional networks with industry leaders and alumni, leading to future job opportunities.
  • Industry Insights: The itinerary often includes visits to major tech giants, venture capital firms, and startups in sectors such as big tech, fintech, and AI, providing front-row insights into real-world innovation. Specific companies previously visited include Google, Microsoft, and Plug and Play Tech Center.

  • Enhanced Learning: The trip translates theoretical classroom knowledge into a practical, real-world context, helping students understand how different regions foster innovation and growth.

    Global and Cultural Dynamics: Students gain a better understanding of the political, social, and cultural dynamics that influence entrepreneurial enterprises in a global innovation hub like Silicon Valley.  

The PRIME team and 75 students headed to Silicon Valley for a transformative week! Starting Sunday we met-up in San Francisco's Golden Gate Park (Strawberry Hill) for a social gathering, exploring SF landmarks like the Presidio and Golden Gate Bridge. Students then experience tech's biggest names firsthand, gaining inspiration and insights from industry leaders and alumni through guest lectures and panels. This trip is designed to expand horizons and foster career growth!

Special thanks to the PRIME team for an amazing trip!
