Jonathan Lord is cofounder and CTO of Flux Marine, an electric boat motor company. After studying Mechanical & Aerospace Engineering at Princeton, he moved to Hawaii and spent time working for a naval defense contractor. Jonathan was able to transition to work full time on Flux Marine in 2020 and now has a permanent office in East Greenwich, RI. Jonathan also works as a mentor and entrepreneur in residence at UMass Boston.      

Flux Marine is a startup based in East Greenwich, Rhode Island that builds high performance electric boat motors. Thanks to their novel, ground-up design, they offer the first true alternative to combustion motors for boats. Their motors are currently available for pre-order with deliveries in spring 2022.
